THE SCHLAFLY IBEX SERIES: THE VARIANT DC RELEASE PARTY

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 28TH @ 4 PM

Join us on Wednesday, June 28th as we host the DC release of Schlafly’s The Variant. On this night, we’ll feature a very limited keg of The Variant alongside a slew of Schlafly specialties, a total of 10 drafts in all!

The third release in Schlafly’s Ibex Rare series, and first since 2015, The Variant is a decadently rich Imperial Stout that is partially aged in Port wine barrels, and partially conditioned on fresh cocoa nibs. Released in extremely small quantities, this is one of only five kegs sent to the entire Mid-Atlantic region.

Rounding out the list are a number of Schlafly Tap Room beers that are perfect for the warm summer weather, including Schlafly Peach Saison, Schlafly Berliner Weisse and Schlafly Watermelon Lager.

There is no admission fee for this event. All Schlafly beers will be priced individually by the glass and in 4 oz. tasting pours.

THE SCHLAFLY TASTING MENU AT BIRCH & BARLEY

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 28TH @ 5:30 PM

Join us at Birch & Barley on Wednesday, June 28th as we offer a one-of-a-kind beer and food pairing experience. On this night, we will offer Executive Chef Bill Williamson’s 5-course tasting menu paired exclusively with brews from Schlafly Beer.

The evening’s list includes some truly exceptional beers from The Saint Louis Brewery, including The Variant Port Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout with Cocoa Nibs, Peach Saison and Apricot IPA.

Not to be outdone, our upstairs bar, ChurchKey, will feature all 10 Schlafly beers on draft, available beginning at 4 PM.

The Schlafly tasting menu is available throughout our dinner service, from 5:30 PM until 10:00 PM. All Birch & Barley dinner reservations can be made by visiting birchandbarley.com or by calling (202) 567-2576.

TIEMPO DE FIESTA AT BBCK - A SPANISH TAP TAKEOVER + ESTADIO COLLABORATION!

THURSDAY, JULY 13TH @ 4 PM

Join us Thursday, July 13th as team up with Estadio, one of our favorite 14th St. neighbors, to celebrate the wonderful beers and cuisine of Spain. Mark your calendars; you don’t want to miss this party!

On this night, ChurchKey will pour no less than 30 exceptional drafts from six of the best craft brewers from Spain, including Edge (Barcelona), Guineu (Valls de Torroella), Cervesera del Montseny (Seva), Marina (Blanes), Naparbier (Noáin) and Arriaca (Guadalajara).

To celebrate the occasion, we’ve invited Estadio Executive Chef Rufino Bautista to add a few of his favorite dishes to ChurchKey’s menu, available for one night only.

There is no admission fee for this event. All featured beers will be priced individually by the glass and in 4 oz. tasting pours.

Not to be outdone, our very own Executive Chef Bill Williamson and Chef Bautista have created a collaborative 5-course tasting menu paired exclusively with Spanish beers, available in our downstairs dining room Birch & Barley.
